"K is for King"- A print of the original acrylic painting from the Medieval Alphabet by Emily Balivet, 2003.
The image measures 8" X 10" and is printed on acid-free, archival quality smooth stock, the image has a slight border allowance for framing. Signed and dated on the back, the print is sealed in a protective cello sleeve and shipped flat.
The Medieval Alphabet by Emily Balivet is a series of 26 8x10 paintings rendered in acrylic paint, hide glue, and varnish on masonite creating an awesome "crackle effect" and cause the works to resemble antique oil paintings. Each letter is bordered with various patterns of Celtic knot work.
