"Saraswati" - A print of an original painting by Emily Balivet, 2008.
Printed on archival quality smooth, matte stock, the image measures 8" x 10" with a slight border, ready for framing. The print is sealed in a protective cello sleeve and signed and dated on the back by the artist.
The divine Hindu Goddess of knowledge, music and the arts. Originally worshiped as the personification of the River Saraswati in northern India, she represented, of course fertility, abundance, and the life-giving flow of water, hence her name, which means "She who flows."
