In Greek Mythology Urania, whose name means "Celestial One", was one of the nine younger Muses, and the daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne. Urania is the goddess of of philosophy and astronomy (which in ancient times was the same as astrology).
With her head held high in the infinite universe, she is able to divine the future by the arrangement of the stars. Those who are most concerned with philosophy, expansion of the mind, and the mysteries of the heavens are dearest to her.
